Ready for the Next Installment

Continuing with last week’s nautical theme, here’s another sea creature.  This one will take a little more yarn (though still not a whole skein) and the body shape varies more than any of the other designs so far, but since all the tentacles are crocheted as one piece, there will be fewer ends to weave in when you’re done.

Finish off, weave in ends.  Use black yarn to make a pupil in the center of each eyespot.  Sew both eyes to the front of your octopus, just above the tentacles. Questions or comments?  Feel free to contact me on my blog or at sheepofdelight@gmail.com

My next installment won’t be oceanic, so if you’re Easter basket needs more aquatic friends, try designing a few of your own.  And feel free to send pictures of your finished designs.  Have fun!
